Come say hello on Clubhouse

Now, I know it’s probably super annoying listening to everyone banging on about how brilliant Clubhouse is, especially if you haven’t been invited to join yet. I know I had flashbacks to being at school waiting to get picked for the sports team!

Not only do you have to be invited, but at the moment you’ve also got to be an Apple user. So, not super inclusive. But we’re being told that this is because it is in Beta testing and rollout still… like Facebook, Twitter and every other platform since, it will soon be open to the masses.

If you are able to get an invite (send me an email or DM me on insta, I might be able to help!) then it is worth getting involved at this early stage.

Why?

  1. Getting in early means you can build your networks and profile before the app gets too saturated. Lots of people are reporting faster follower growth than any other social media account they have.

  2. You can connect with your target audience. There are rooms and discussions being hosted every day on every topic imaginable. Not only can you get great insight by listening to others, but you can also build your own authority as a trusted source.

  3. You can learn from industry experts. There are a lot of big names on there sharing their experiences, providing advice and guidance, and just generally adding value.

Of course, as with any platform there are some duds on there and some people and discussions that you frankly will want to steer clear of (there is no dislike button and moderation is local so those people who have lost their voice on other platforms have unfortunately found a space here). But, as with anything, do your research, have a play and you will find your space and community there.

If you are on there then give me a follow (@sundayskies). I’ve got an exciting collab in the pipeline that we are hoping to bring to a Clubhouse room real soon, so reserve your space!
